Step 1: Acid Exfoliation
Exfoliation is great, because nothing we put on our skin is going to work unless we exfoliate properly. We have tried so many things. Some worked, some didn’t. Acid exfoliation has never let us down. Dead cells build a layer on our skin, which is why our skin looks dull and uneven sometimes. Acid exfoliants can work real wonders. However, always look for the right acids that suit your skin.
Scientific testing has shown great results for Glycolic and Salicylic Acids in treating acne-prone skin.
In our Clear Skin Army line we include two acid exfoliants, which can be used daily to unclog pores, and can also double as a twice-a-week 10 min mask for deeper exfoliation. How cool is that?
Glycolic acid works to smooth fine lines and even out skin tones. It is effective in fighting acne, diminishing acne scars, and unclogging enlarged pores. Due to its molecular size, glycolic acid is able to penetrate the skin more deeply and easily. This product helps improve skin texture, making it firmer and smoother. Longer-term use of the combination of glycolic (AHA) and salicylic (BHA) acids is effective in preventing blocked pores and reducing uneven complexion. Salicylic acid exfoliates inside the pore and helps build elastin and collagen.
Glycolic Acid 10% + BHA Exfoliant
The ingredients and benefits of this product are the same as our Glycolic Acid 7% + BHA Exfoliant product, just a little bit stronger. If you aren’t sure, or have never tried acid exfoliants, you might want to start with the milder version and work up to the stronger product. And remember: We encourage those with sensitive skin to performing a patch test on the skin to check for possible reactions!

Step 2: Target Your Drama
Zap those zits! Sometimes drama just walks into your life. Don’t panic, we have something for you. Because a little less drama = a little more fun. Blemishes, pimples, and inflammations? We got you covered!
Our Targeted Spot Treatment Solution is designed for oily and acne-prone skin with blemishes and imperfections. It contains glycolic acid and ichthammol, which minimize inflammation and stimulate the skin’s regeneration. However, if your acne is very serious or persistent, please consult your dermatologist. Read our blog how to prepare yourself for a dermatology appointment!
Step 3: Moisturize
To keep that healthy, happy glow, every skin type needs to stay hydrated (read more in our blog)! Moisture keeps our skin in balance and protects us from the effects of things like weather, products that dry out our skin, and shaving. Even oily, acne-prone skin needs moisturizing to stay hydrated and in balance to fight blemishes. No worries. We have moisturizers for every skin type and we love them all!
This moisturizer is a great solution for the oily, problematic and acne-prone skin. It targets blemishes while keeping the skin hydrated. Walnut shell extract minimizes inflammation, while glycolic acid and Vitamin C help reduce pores and strengthen the skin’s resistance to environmental aggressors.
We truly love this balm. Olive, tea seed and calendula oils restore the natural moisture balance and calm stressed skin, because our poor skin sometimes needs a little comfort. Enriched with ingredients, which intensively moisturize the skin, this balm also offers a protection against environmental aggressors.

The AM / PM Every Day Clear Skin Army Routine
It is absolutely, totally and completely, 100% crucial that you perform your skin-care routine twice a day diligently (read more).
In the morning we need to wash off all the dead skin cells and sweat that have accumulated during the night.
In the evening we have to wash off the day‘s dirt, grime, bacteria and make-up. Never go to bed without washing your face. I usually try to get this out of the way as early as possible because I know I will be tired later and I would never want to neglect my skin. It works so hard for us. Treat it with love!
